This evening I created an edubuntu-testing PPA for the Ubuntu Dev
launchpad team and uploaded your fix to tuxpaint, tuxmath and tuxtype
for Hardy, Intrepid, and Jaunty. Let me know what releases this works
on and/or is needed. If they aren't needed for a particular release I
can remove the packages.
I plan on moving these packages, if enough testing is done, to another
newly created PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~edubuntu-dev/+archive/edubuntu-updates) that I
hope will become a high quality supplemental repo that should be OK
for most users to use. It would house updates that do not meet the
Ubuntu Stable Release Updates Policy but which the Edubuntu
development team feels are useful and important for users.
If anybody is interesting in contributing to bug fixes in stable
Edubuntu releases this is a great opportunity to get involved.
