Java fix?

Hi All,

It looks pretty exciting, a fix for the java issue on thin clients!  I get
this impression from the comments towards the bottom of this long
page<https://bugs.launchpad.net/libxcb/+bug/277069>as well as threads
elsewhere on the web.

Nonetheless, while there was lots of info and excitement, there weren't
basic level instructions on how to apply this fix for how an Ubuntu newbie
such as myself.  Can anyone check it out and expand it?  I'm using Jaunty
now.
