Desktop upside down

I found something similar with 10.04.
If I had nvidia drivers installed on the server, some of the clients had their text upside down (not the whole desktop actually).
On 10.04 I had to switch window managers to metacity. I dont' know about 12.04.
Here are my notes regarding 10.04:
===============================
Fix mirrored screen (Nvidia/Intel graphics chipset problem)
If the server is using proprietary Nvidia drivers and the clients have integrated Intel video chipsets, it’s possible the client screen gets vertically mirrored! Change the window manager from compiz to metacity to workaround this. (Actually metacity may well be better for LTSP anyway as it is less graphically intensive. Type this...
sudo gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory --type string --set /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager metacity
=================
Hope that helps.
