Has anyone gotten this chipset to work in a thin client? These are Asus
motherboards with onboard video, the defaults are not being picked up
correctly. I have specified XSERVER=via (as well as vesa, and fbdev) in
lts.conf, specified by MAC. I have not tried stating any modelines. All I
can get is a square block cursor, and blacked out background. I have a
stack of these I wish I could use, they work properly on the old XP install
on them. I believe the client is reading the info from lts.conf because I
can produce other unreadable bootscreens :^(
Within the chroot I have purged and re-installed
xserver-xorg-video-openchrome with no change.
TIA-ss
