According to me the actual interface of Update Manager is old and does
not give a good overview of the updates and their informations. It's
simple to risolve this problem: we can divide the interface into two
parts vertically, not horizontally: once shows updates; the other shows
informations of the selected update. In this way we can see more updates
even if we want to see their information. Instaed of this, actually, if
we want to see informations about an update, the screen is divided into
parts horizontally and the list of updates is not visible.
I updated a screenshot to show you how solve this problem, sorry for the
bad quality.
