  No menu when gvim launched from command line

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: unity

  If I launch an instance of gvim from the Unity dock, gvim's menu works
  as expected.

  If I launch an instance of gvim from the command line, the menu no
  longer appears when I mouse over the top unity panel.
