Whit test of iso image http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20110803
/oneiric-desktop-amd64.iso the history of firefox is there after a
reboot so I suppose the bug is solved.

Bug description:
  While testing Oneiric Alpa 3 (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-
  live/20110802/oneiric-desktop-amd64.iso) with live  persistent usb key
  on my PC that is 64 bit I have this problem:

  When rebooting (I have to reboot from command line as reboot menu item does not work, see Bug #819773) firefox's history is not saved.
  I rebooted first time with reboot and second time with shutdown -r now (from command line using CTRL+ALT+F1).
