Marking this as a regression-release, as it doesn't happen on Natty using software-center 4.0.4, tried with the steps from above, opened gparted, closed, doubleclick deb file (tried with skype and google voice chat), but the plugins of gparted were not displayed.

Title:
Software Center shows irrelevant addons for a local deb

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
I checked GParted in Software Center (didn't install, just read the description) and closed.
Then I downloaded the Google video chat plug-in deb and double-clicked on it. Software Center displays the description of the plug-in but loads GParted addons for it! Please see the attached screenshot.
