I posted this a month ago and no one seems to do something about this
problem. How can the Ubuntu Software centre move forward with all of
these new features and designs when you guys can't even fix the obvious
problems. Come on community.. a stable system, always wins against a
nice looking system. Let do something about this!

Title:
Whole computer unstable while installing apps
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Everytime I install applications from ubuntu software centre, when it
is applying changes my whole computer becomes slow and unstable.
Perhaps there should be a limit to processor usage the Ubuntu Software
Centre uses. If the Ubuntu software centre can work well on my
netbook, then there's confidence that it will work on any other
computer seamlessly.
