Try hitting reload in synaptic (upper left corner) or running

sudo apt-get update

in a terminal, then try it again.

Background information:

The package list on your system is outdated. Sometime since it was
updated the last time and when you tried to install k3b, a library k3b
needs was updated in Ubuntu, but your system does not yet know about it.
It still tries to fetch the old version, but old versions may be removed
from the Ubuntu servers in certain cases (such as this one).

Title:
"Failed to fetch"file k3b install on ubuntu studio 11.04

Status in “synaptic” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  W: Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/q/qt4-x11/libqt4-qt3support_4.7.2-0ubuntu6.1_amd64.deb
    404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.88.31 80]
Pretty sure I can't get this file as I've tried several times in an 8 hour period. Also, when I installed "Gimp" the installed did not like some of the k3b files, but that's not a big issue, as after Gimp was installed, k3b continued to return the above error. This noob says a heartfelt "Thank you" to ubuntu and the linux community in general. Someday I hope to return the good will.
