Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I get this message every time i try to check for updates or to update
  from "update-manager". I can run normal "synaptic" for checking and
  updating packages. And also i can update and upgrade from terminal.

  I was expecting to check for updates and install current available
  updates but the update-manager crashes.
