DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 10.10"
ii nfs-common 1:1.2.2-1 NFS support files common to client and server
ii nfs-kernel-server 1:1.2.2-1 support for NFS kernel server
nfs-kernel-server has an upstream bug that stops crossmnt from working. Upstream has confirmed and has a fix.
I fixed this problem on my machine by downloading nfs-kernel-server
and nfs-common from Debian squeeze:
ii nfs-common 1:1.2.2-4 NFS support files common to client and server
ii nfs-kernel-server 1:1.2.2-4 support for NFS kernel server
