I'm sorry that this bug has gone without a response for so long. I have
to say that this is the wrong place to make this change; LEDs should be
handled atomically in the kernel as part of the wlan driver, which is
the norm, not via a post-hoc update from acpi-support.. the latter
leaves too many ways for this to get out of sync with the actual kernel
state.
So I'm closing this bug as invalid. If the driver for your hardware
still does not update the LED state automatically, please file a bug
against the 'linux' kernel package.

Binary package hint: acpi-support
Pressing Wireless-switcher does not change the status of Wireless-LED.
I'll attach a patch that fixes this
Unpack the archive
$ tar xf acpi-support.tar -C /tmp
$ cd /tmp
Copy the state-funcs.patch in /usr/share/acpi-support/ and patch it
$ sudo cp state-funcs.patch /usr/share/acpi-support/
$ cd /usr/share/acpi-support/; sudo patch -p0 -i state-funcs.patch; cd /tmp
Copy remaining files
$ sudo cp packardbell-wireless /etc/acpi/events/packardbell-wireless
$ sudo cp packardbell-wireless.sh /etc/acpi/packardbell-wireless.sh
