Whoops! I think I'll track that as bug 814448, though, since it's there
now; feel free to subscribe to that bug, and I should have it fixed soon
in Oneiric in any event.

Title:
Keyboard selection - Guernsey should be UK not USA
Status in “console-setup” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: base-installer
Firstly it's great that yo have included Guernsey and the other UK
islands into your distribution as locations. It's a nice touch to
include us Ubuntu users in our small island homelands.
When selecting Guernsey as a location the next page defaults to a US /
USA keyboard layout. It should be UK as per England / Great Britain.
Though not checked, I suspect Jersey, Isle of Man and others may
default the same way and should also be set to a UK keymap.
If it helps, I posted a similar 'bug' to the folks in the FreeBSD World. I have tracked down a copy of it online:
http://freebsd.monkey.org/freebsd-bugs/200806/msg00119.html
Many thanks for taking the time to read this and for the effort you
all put into Ubuntu as a whole.
Best regards,
Modiford
Guernsey, Channel Islands.
PS - I'm sorry if this is not specifically within the "Base Installer"
package. Please relocate as appropriate.
