I can confirm this bug is reproducible with Fedora 15 as well; I am
going to try Sabayon once it has finished downloading and Debian Squeeze
in the meantime (all 32-bit and GNOME editions).

Bug description:
  Re-installing my laptop which currently runs sabayon. But the ubuntu
  Installer says "no detected operating systems". Not serious but a I
  little disconcerting
