I already like Linux Mint Gnome AMD 64 bit Katya far better than Ubuntu latest edition that I recently installed.  
Also recently I have tried Debian live 6.0.1 AMD64 Gnome Desktop and had several problems trying to get it installed and Update not working etc... 

I hope Linux Mint Gnome AMD64 bit will work with VMware 7.1.4 Workstation for linux.  I need a few Windows 7 programs still.

  Maxtor 200 Gb drive with Debian 6.0.1 AMD64-Gnome Desktop installed on it. (That install worked fine in Debian). 
  Install of Linux Mint 11 Gnome 64 bit  does not recognize the drive.   Using another 20 Gb drive with same Debian installed it worked great.  (I need larger HD)
