Title:
  update-initramfs failing after upgrade to Maverick

Status in “initramfs-tools” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

  Today's update (6 July 2010) results in update-initramfs failing to
  build a new initrd.img.

  ------------------------------------

  greenman at Wolfenstein:~$ sudo update-initramfs -u
  [sudo] password for greenman:
  update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-6-generic
  cryptsetup: WARNING: found more than one resume device candidate:
                       /dev/sda5
                       UUID=b88e11dd-da1e-48f2-8984-15bf9330932c
  update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-6-generic

  ------------------------------------

  Checking /boot, it is in fact failing to build a new initrd -- the one in /boot is an old one.
  The cryptsetup and WARNING messages are not new; they have always been there on my system.
