Public bug reported:

I upgraded to Oneiric yesterday from Natty. During the upgrade it could
not install ubuntu-desktop. If I try to update manually I get these
errors:

han at nc6220:~$ sudo apt-get upgrade
[sudo] password for han:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ubuntu-desktop : Depends: at-spi2-core but it is not installed
Depends: libatk-adaptor but it is not installed
Recommends: gnome-codec-install but it is not installed
Recommends: gnome-orca but it is not installed
Recommends: gnome-sudoku but it is not installed
Recommends: ibus-pinyin but it is not installed
Recommends: ibus-table but it is not installed
Recommends: onboard but it is not installed
Recommends: usb-creator-gtk but it is not installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.
