I'm using Lucid, and I got a similar email today:

Date: Tue, 30 Aug 2011 08:46:46 +0200 (SAST)
From: Anacron <root at foo.bar>
To: root at foo.bar
Subject: Anacron job 'cron.daily' on foo

/etc/cron.daily/apt:
Checking for new archive signing keys now

Title:
  uninteresting cron mail about key update

Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apt

  I just got a cron.daily mail which looks uninteresting and should not
  have been sent:

  =========== 8< ============
  Subject: Anacron job 'cron.daily' on donald
  Date: Fri, 15 Feb 2008 09:14:39 +0100 (CET)

  /etc/cron.daily/apt:
  Checking for new archive signing keys now
  gpg: key 437D05B5: "Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster at ubuntu.com>" not changed
  gpg: Total number processed: 1
  gpg:              unchanged: 1
  gpg: key FBB75451: "Ubuntu CD Image Automatic Signing Key <cdimage at ubuntu.com>" not changed
  gpg: Total number processed: 1
  gpg:              unchanged: 1
  =========== 8< ============

  Some --quiet option is in order, I think.
