Title:
No text displayed on live desktop on macbook pro

Status in “pango1.0” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I'm trying to install the Natty daily image[1] on a Macbook Pro. I've
tried both the 64-bit MAC-optimised and standard 64-bit desktop isos.

No text is how in the menubar or the dialog box of the installer.
However, starting an xterm from the console work, since text is shown
in the xterm. A picture of the problem is attached.
