  UI Freeze exception: Theming fixes for Software Center

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Software Center recently switched over to a new GTK3-based user
  interface and we have some theming bugs outstanding that we need to
  have fixed. These will result in some changes in the user interface,
  most noticeably when using a light-color theme such as Radiance. There
  is also a change to the appearance of the navigation buttons at the
  left of the top navigation panel.

  These primary rationale for this exception request is that, in its
  current state, Software Center is nearly unusable when using the
  Radiance theme (see screenshot at
  https://launchpadlibrarian.net/77454179/Navigation%20bar.png , an
  attachment to bug 828092). The screenshot at
  https://launchpadlibrarian.net/78622321/Radiance.png shows the same
  navigation bar with the proposed fix. Note also that bug 828092 has
  been set to "high" importance because it is very easy to switch themes
  in Ubuntu now.

  The other bugs addressed by the proposed fix are bug 830681 and bug
  830738. Again, these are mainly color changes that will serve to
  improve the usability of Software Center.

  There are no string changes associated with this freeze exception
  request.
