  successful login with wrong password

Status in “pam” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  I am using Ubuntu 11.04 (in Poruguese, last updated today Sept.22nd,
  with encrypted private folder): if I type at login the first part and
  the last part of my password (say typing "Passy88()" instead of
  "Passyforme88()") the system will allow me access, altough the display
  of the graphical interface will be escrewed.
