Public bug reported:

 Using default 11.10

At the top when it asks you to update it says. If you don't want to
install them now, choose "Update Manager" from Applications later.

It should say to look for it by searching in the dash or on the logout
menu as there no longer is an applications menu in unit.

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
