[Bug 898416] [NEW] AMD 64 Install with Wubi on Windows 7 Laptop..hangs

similar conditions to Question 116212.  If I reboot I get to the grub
prompt.  Then  in following the instructions in 116212 and enter "search
-f /vmlinuz" the response is "cannot find vmlinuz"

I did an "ls" at the grup prompt and got (loop0) (hd0) (hd0,msdos1)
(hd0,msdos2)...

I have tried to load Unbuntu 4 times.. same outcome.. I have it on my
other computers in the office on dual boot and full install on one
laptop and one desktop.. one desktop is dual boot because I can't get
one or more programs to run under Ubuntu yet..

I was intending to transition this laptop to a full Ubuntu install and
getting rid of Windows all together... but this is just not happening..

Help...please.
