Sorry that the report got long unattended. There are different ways of
doing an upgrade from a local mirror. If support is still needed this
can be converted into a question.

** Package changed: update-manager-core (Ubuntu) => update-manager
(Ubuntu)

** Changed in: update-manager (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  upgrade from gutsy to hardy does not work with a local mirror

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager-core

  Hi,

  I am using a internal mirror and i want to upgrade my ubuntu from gutsy to hardy, using my internal mirror.
  The installer does not allow it, and put the "official" ubuntu repositories.
  I found a way to sort this out, by entering manually the hardy lines corresponding to my own repository, and then launching update-manager. I think it sorta work...

  Could you please add an easy way to upgrade using an internal mirror ?
