Closing as this seemed to be a problem with the system, not with update-
manager.

** Changed in: update-manager-core (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

** Package changed: update-manager-core (Ubuntu) => update-manager
(Ubuntu)

Title:
  apt-get does not work. Cannot resolve host
  "hu.archive.ubuntu.com:http"

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  after update on 10.04 apt-get doesn't resolve any host.
  it is trying to resolve the basic archive.ubuntu.com but with ":http" at the end.
  For example: Trying to resolve "hu.archive.ubuntu.com:http" but i never see that ":http" before, and it is not in sources.list at all.
  since that shit i can not install or update anything
