You are using Oneiric? There was a bug in Oneiric. In Precise the sub
progress information is translatable - but perhaps hasn't been
translated yet in French. The terminal is a little bit mixed -
unfortunately. We need untranslated messages from dpkg to make debugging
package failures easier for the Ubuntu developers.
