Hi Trent, could you check the disk for errors? This option is available
on the first screen after booting to the live media.
Were you still able to access Vista after the installation? How about
Ubuntu?

Bug description:
Tried installing ubuntu 11.10 on a secondary hard drive as a dual boot
with Vista. Install was almost complete and at final install step a
window came up saying the install crashed. No more info other than
that.
