[Bug 908483] [NEW] grub-install to /dev/sda fails "hd0 appears to contain a iso9660"

I'm getting this error when trying both 11.10 and 12.04 (daily update)
alternative using lvm and crypto devices.

If anyone can suggest a work around I would be extremely grateful!
