Status in “gparted” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gparted

  Xubuntu Desktop i386 CD 10.04

  After failure gparted claims it can't read contents of the partition.
  However, by mounting I can read the partition in ubuntu and I can run
  Windows XP located in the partition.
