  New

Bug description:
  See Ubuntu “linux” package Bugs Bug #642801 which was never addressed
  and has been auto closed. This was a bug, is still a bug and seems
  highly likely will remain a bug unless resolved.

  This exact bug has been propagated from 10.04 into the 11.04 beta live
  CD (downloaded 7 April 2011).

  On booting the live CD the error message is displayed for about 5
  seconds then live CD boots as expected.
