I can't reproduce this. Can you provide a debootstrap command (not in
the context of pbuilder) that demonstrates this?

Title:
/proc does not get umounted after debootstrap
Status in “debootstrap” package in Ubuntu:
New
Status in “debootstrap” package in Debian:
Unknown
Bug description:
It seems that debootstrap does NOT umount /proc in the chroot after
its run.
This causes for example pbuilder to fail, as it tries to remount /proc
