Bug description:
  SRU justification:

  Impact: The builtin machanism will not attach some 3g modems if
  usbserial is not a module.

  Fix: Change back usbserial to be a module.

  Testcase: Modem is not detected without special boot arguments when
  the driver is built in. It will be detected when the driver is a
  module.

  
  Binary package hint: kernel-package

  usbserial driver seems to be removed from ubuntu 9.04 kernel.
  However, Huawei U120/Vodafone 715 phone works only with that driver.
