There's really no need to ask that question - it's quite apparent that
the requested feature has not been implemented in update-manager.
However, you can deselect/select *groups* of updates (i.e. distribution,
security etc,)

Title:
Need to have select all and unselect all option when asking for
  installing updates

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apt

  Hi,

Sorry. This isnt a bug. But a nice enhancement that i thought could be
made. There could be a select all and deselect all option when listing
the packages that need to be updated.
