Status in “dpkg” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: dpkg

  When I upgraded Ubuntu 9.x to 10.x I got following error dialog boxes,

  Could not install
  '/var/cache/apt/archives/liblog4j1.2-java_1.2.15-9ubuntu2_i386.deb'

  The upgrade will continue but the
  '/var/cache/apt/archives/liblog4j1.2-java_1.2.15-9ubuntu2_i386.deb'
  package may not be in a working state. Please consider submitting a
  bug report about it.

  subprocess dpkg-deb --control returned error exit status 2

  ================================

  Could not install 'liblog4j1.2-java'

  The upgrade will continue but the 'liblog4j1.2-java' package may not
  be in a working state. Please consider submitting a bug report about
  it.

  package liblog4j1.2-java is already installed and configured

  ===============================
  Could not install the upgrades

  The upgrade is now aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state.
  A recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a).

  Upgrade complete

  The upgrade is completed but there were errors during the upgrade
  process.

  ===============================

  This crash report generated when I first time booted my Ubuntu after
  upgrade. I don't know whether starting Rythmbox caused it or it
  automatically got generated.
