Public bug reported:

I tried several times to install Ubuntu Server 11.04 x64 on an HP
Proliant Microserver N36L. The install was from a bootable usb drive.

The install would always result in an unbootable machine unless I
selected "without LVM" in the partitioning phase.

** Affects: grub-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
