  autologin configuration from System -> User settings panel is non-

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Selecting the option to auto-login has no effect. The option remains
  off after going into another setting module and then returning to the
  User module. The configuration is not being saved.
