  Maverick: Live USB hangs and freezes during Try Ubuntu

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  After pressing any key then try Ubuntu the system freezes on "starting
  kernel oops catching service kerneloops speech dispatcher disabled
  edit /etc/default/speechdispatcher. I removed quiet and splash to
  determine where it froze.

  If I just boot the usb and do not press a key the graphic try or
  install appears and choosing try ubuntu via this method works fine.
