Title:
Karmic beta installer fail to reboot at the end of the installation.

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  Hi,

All of the installer process work fine. But at the end, after you
click on the "restart" button, the screen become black. After few
seconds the background wallpaper of the installer reappears on the
screen. Finally, the screen alternates between black and wallpaper
background but the computer does not reboot.

To solve this problem, I manually restarted the computer and the new
  system boot normaly.

  Best regards,

  Thomas Pierson
