Title:
Install window reported absent internet, connected the eth0 and
pressed back, and then forward, and it froze

Status in “initramfs-tools” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

Launched Ubuntu from USB and started the installer when Ubuntu was
loaded. When I got to the part that told me that Internet was
recommended I plugged in the Ethernet-cable, pressed back and then
forward twice (making sure it had detected the Internet first) to
continue the install. It froze and eventually crashed.

Upon starting the installer fresh after the crash it was all good.
