this system only installed 20110531. installed several pkgs
simultaneously, using aptitude, which included install of medit.
subsequently, using the GUI Ubuntu-One, recognize the "desktopcouch" req
for additional func. (after apt installs completed). at which time--
apparently-- medit install ordered /again/?

Help me find log of Aptitude installations, and pleased to submit as
part of this report.

had i record available presently, would submit momentarily. i.e. "uh,
where's that aptitude install log?".

  veteran Ubuntu user finds this is first, or first in-a-long-absence
  from previous, use of Launchpad automatically as such. i didn't
  instntiate this report, to my knowledge, however a report for the
  failied "upgrade" of medit, i believe as part of install of the XUL
  bookmarks desktopcouch thing.. i did call that, but this.. not sure...
