Thanks for the report, but USC -- like almost every other program in
Ubuntu -- is designed for the efficient use of space allowed by a
pointing device. An interface designed for a touch screen would be
frustrating when used with a pointing device, because the larger target
areas would result in less information being displayed at once.
There are a very few programs (mostly games) for which exactly the same
interface would be ideal for pointing device and for touch-screen, but
USC is not one of them. Satisfying pointing device users and touchscreen
users would require separate interfaces.
