I think this should be marked as "Fix released", since oneiric has vim-lesstif as a transitional package to vim-athena.
(I would prefer the real vim-lesstif, myself)

Title:
  [needs-packaging] vim-lesstif

Status in “vim” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Ubuntu is missing vim-lesstif.

It is present in Debian: http://packages.debian.org/lenny/vim-lesstif

Unfortunately, vim-gtk/vim-gnome works well only if used locally or
remotely from similar Linux installation. But when working remotely,
both of the front-ends look pretty ugly and are barely usable with
  foreign X11 servers.

Since lesstif library integrates well with X11, it is very accessible
when running GUI vim remotely from Linux server connecting to other X
  Windows implementations.

Please include the package in repository.
