I can confirm this problem. I am using a Ubuntu 11.04 system with kernel
2.6.39.  I have to reinstall system because I accidentally removed some
system directory in the evening.

I chosed 'Upgrade 11.04 to 11.04' on the screen,  its fine. And I was
surfing around with Firefox until met the same problem.

Here is my screen shot. At this time, when I found this defect record
and finish my comment, it is still pending on.

BTW. I don't remember whether it has happened when I upgrade from 10.10
to 11.04 last month.

  the progress bar just does not advance.
