Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  Hi,
     I'm experiencing some update-manager hangs on one of my laptops with Jaunty freshly installed.

  As you can see from the attached screenshot, the update-manager pops
  up, I choose to install the proposed packages, but it stays grey
  indefinitely - it doesn't even ask me the password for the
  authentication.

  This is problem doesn't always occur, in fact yesterday I updated the
  system with success.

  I've taken a look at my .xsession-errors and found something
  interesting, I'm attaching that too.
