[Bug 795918] [NEW] installer crashed during "upgrade" 11.04 to 11.04

I've had frequent "strange" issues with this particular PC (long history
of such starting day 1 in Windows). Issues are not present on netbook
(also dual boot install) or the much older PC. So I thought I would re-
write the system kernel and clean out any un-necessary files, by doing a
new install. At the last minute I chickened out and opted for  the
"upgrade" option.  Somewhere in the installation process the installer
crashed.  As soon as I can get the log files I will send them. Currently
that PC is not allowing me to function online or print or copy the files
off of the ubuntu desktop.  Hopefully I can get to them before I do a
complete re-install if that is what I end up doing.

x64, NVidia, Win 7 Home premium x64;  burn the live CD in ubuntu
