Title:
ubuntu-install won't advance if there is no free HD space

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I have several OS-es on my hard-disks and I wanted to install Ubuntu
11.04 Beta1 32-bit from live CD. I wanted to install it over my old
Ubuntu 9.10 installation. I booted from CD, and graphical installer
informed me that I don't have 2.6GB free disk space and Forward button
was disabled. I was also unable to start gparted, as it was crashing
without even showing it's window. So, I had to boot my curret system,
format the Ubuntu 9.10 partition and boot from live again.

The user should be given the option to format existing (full)
partition(s) during install, not to force it to do it from another OS.
