  When ImageMagick (IM)

  is invoked from the command line, the ImageMagick menu fonts on menu, file chooser etc. are illegible. Perhaps it is a Motif font support problem in Kubuntu 8.04 LTS. 

  dpkg -l imagemagick

  gives

  programs
