[Bug 798328] [NEW] lightdm breaks automatic-ubiquity and preseeded desktop installation

Oneiric Desktop i386 20110616.1

I ran a preseeded installation of the desktop image with automatic-ubiquity on the kernel command line.
The system is correctly preseeded (according to casper.log) but the installer never starts and stops at the lightdm login window.

This may impact wubi images as well.
