Are those issues still present? If so please file individual bugs for
them. It is impossible to work on bugs with lists of issues :/

Title:
  Localization issues and more.

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I have a few localization issues that I thought I'd report in one go.
This is with the Kubuntu herd5 live-cd of gutsy gibbon.

  * I chose a language at the "boot" menu, still english that shows up during boot and KDE boots into english.
  * Stockholm isn't chosen as the default timezone (as I expected since I selected "Swedish" at the boot menu.
  * The language in the installer (Ubiquity?) isn't swedish to start with, but changes in step 2.
  * The button in the installer aren't translated. They're called Next/Cancel. On the last page the word Install is translated (Installera) though. Still talking buttons here.
  * The installer is more verbose than it has to. Text like [Installing module "viaXXX" for "IDE-HD"] or [Running grub_install(hd0)] doesn't provide any useful information for most ppl

After reboot (no longer on live-cd).

  * I'm still running the english version of KDE, despite swedish being the chosen language pre-boot and running the installer in swedish language. I would have expected swedish KDE.
  * During first upgrade after install PAM wants to (and will) kill KDM if default choice is chosen. That effectivly kills off X which isn't good. Don't try to restart servers and prompt user for a reboot or something after instalaltions are done.
